‘morphing lines’ is a new collaborative trans-disciplinary production investigating the phenomenom of a line such as borderline, boundaries or border crossings – choreographed by Nadja Raszewski. Who determines borders and boundaries, official, physical or internal ones? When do we overstep the line and reach the limit with our actions? Do we need borders? How far will a subject go to defend their idea, belief or conviction? When does behaviour become mania?
The production is a cross over of dance performance with sonic installation art. It was created and will be performed at Kunsthaus Dahlem, a museum that with its historic dramatic narrative holds a reflective vessel for ‘morphing lines’ – A piece that questions the existence of borderlines, in a moving time of political streams and streams of human beings.
A coproduction with Kunsthaus Dahlem and a collaboration with tangente company, mejeh black, SuB Kultur e.V., the composer Prof. Michael Gould/ Michigan, the vibraphonist Anders Astrand/ Sweden and the University of Fine Arts Dresden
